LMSW Clinical Supervision

Dr. Hughes Valentine is a Licensed Clinical Social worker-Supervisor, in the state of Texas. Dr. Hughes has experience working with children as young as 5 years of age, adolescents ages 11-17 and adults ages 18-95. Dr. Hughes has worked in community mental health, Assertive Case Management programs, Hospice, Home health, adolescent respite group homes, Group private practice and Solo private practice.


Dr. Hughes Valentine also has experience working with Military veterans, Military dependents, active duty military personnel, LGBTQIA persons, families, individual counseling, couples, homeless persons, and hospice patients. 


Dr. Hughes is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2, ADHD Specialist provider and a Certified Depression & Mood Disorder Treatment Professional. Dr. Hughes has experience addressing ADHD, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorders, Trauma and Stress, Death and Dying, grief, self-love/self-esteem, Dissociative disorders, Gender Dysphoria, Disruptive Disorders, issues related to immigration, social inequity, and socioeconomic issues. 


LCSW Exam Preparation


You will be provided with the skills to prepare and pass the LCSW exam. 6 months prior to your exam date, we will start prepping and mastering exam content.

Education on specific modalities, Interventions, and diagnosing


We will heavily focus on facilitating the therapeutic process, resolving issues that may arise in the therapeutic relationship, completing diagnostic assessments, and implementing interventions.

Case consultations and Review


We will take time to discuss your current client case load with the intention of increasing your confidence as a mental health practitioner

Individual Supervision

$50.00 An Hour

for a minimum of 4hrs a month

(Total of $200 a month)

Services will be provided virtually


Group Supervision

$160.00 Per month 

  • Group sessions will be 2hrs each session, 2x a month for a total of 4hrs a month. ($40 an hr)
  • Sessions will be held virtually.
