Cancellation Policy

We kindly request that sessions be canceled between 2 to 24 hours prior to your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee.

In the event of an emergency, please reach out to us at 210-983-8624 at your earliest convenience to cancel for emergency reasons.

For session duration:

  • Your therapist will wait 5 minutes for 30-minute sessions.
  • 10 minutes for 45-minute sessions.
  • 15 minutes for 60-minute sessions.
  • If you fail to join within this grace period, the session will be classified as a "no show."

Should there be two "No shows" within a one-month span, your scheduled sessions will be put on hold until you get in touch to reschedule.

Paperwork

Completion of all paperwork is mandatory before scheduling your inaugural session.

Initial Session

Every first session is an intake meeting. This provides an opportunity for your therapist to ascertain if the presenting concerns fall within their realm of expertise.

Your Rights

You possess the right to:

  • Obtain either a paper or electronic copy of your medical record.
  • Amend your paper or electronic medical record.
  • Request discreet communication.
  • Limit the dissemination of your information.
  • Review a catalog of those with whom your details have been shared.
